We recommend changing your razor blades after 5-7 shaves to keep the blades sharp and your skin smooth. Of course, shaving is individual and it depends on how large the area is that you are shaving. The holder will take care of your razor when you’re not around, so please remember to use it! 

And don't forget, the plastic protection is only for keeping your razor heads safe during transportation, and should not be reattached.
